Wooden Map Jigsaw

A high quality wooden jigsaw featuring historical charts of Shetland.  The images are taken from maps in the Shetland Museum and Archives collection. The puzzle includes a number of unique whimsey pieces.

There are 4 different designs to choose from:

  • Jan Jansson in 1629 one of the earliest surveys of Shetland to be published (200 Piece)
  • Hendric Hondius in 1636 (250 Piece)
  • John Bruce in 1745 a Shetlander from Whalsay who produced the most accurate survey in a century (200 Piece)
  • T. Kitchen Gardner & J Barber in 1778 (250 Piece)
  • Jacques Bellin in 1764 was more accurate than most and had influenced maps for many years. (250 Piece)
